The Multivrs Is Illuminated Youth Music (TMII) is a six day summer fun and music centered experience for youth ages 8 - 17.

Paid mentorship opportunities are available to youth ages 13 - 17.

Participants will spend five days:

  • receiving intensive instrument instruction in either drums, bass, guitar, or vocals

  • perfecting an original song with a newly formed or established band

  • attending workshops that provide  hands-on marketing, technical and communication skills through creating promotional materials, learning equipment set-up, and communicating with bands and venues

  • Lastly, on June 17th, performing their original songs at a concert they co-organize!

The Multivrs Is Illuminated (TMII) was founded by the former Co-Executive Director of Bay Area Girls Rock Camp. TMII applies a feminist, queer, trans, BIPOC, and DIY centered framework to music and collaboration. Alongside our participants, we create a welcoming space where young people are inspired to feel bold, creative, free and empowered.

We provide instruments, snacks, transportations stipends, and all skill levels are welcome!
