ZINE LIBRARY

Our lobby features over 500 unique zines, generously donated by Tucson Zine Fest.

Groundworks is the home of the Tucson Zine Fest’s Zine Library, a permanent installation featuring over 500 unique zines available to read in the space or check out to read at home. This collection includes work by talented zinesters from Tucson and beyond. With content ranging from comics to perzines to political resources, it’s a great place to experience the variety zines have to offer!

Guests have the option to either read zines in the lobby or check them out and return them to Groundworks at a later date. The collection features a variety of zines including comics, perzines, political zines, poetry, and more.

CHECKOUT POLICY

To check out a zine, simply sign in to the checkout sheet located in the library. Zines are due back one week after checkout. They can be returned by depositing the zine in the Library Returns box during Groundworks’ regular hours. If you’re having trouble finding a good time to drop off zines, contact art@groundworkstucson.com.

HOW TO SUBMIT ZINES

The Groundworks Zine Library is always growing! If you’re a Tucson zine creator, we’d love to add your work to our collection. We also encourage creators who publish regular content to submit new issues as they are released. To submit a zine, click the button below and fill out the submission form. After submitting, we will contact you via email to arrange a drop-off time.
